Hip Hop takes its influences from rap, R&B and pop music and the look of the Street.
It encompasses movement that has elements of poppin’, locking, and breaking as well as freestyle movement giving students the opportunity to develop their own sense of style.
Slow Dance extenuates the movement of dance and focuses on poise, posture and technique. It is soft flowing, often referred to as lyrical ballet, incorporating spins, kicks, holds, jumps, leaps and a great deal of control.
Freestyle is fast, acrobatic, funky and complex. It involves modern choreography to the latest modern music. Freestyle is an extremely high energy style of dance, it incorporates many different moves such as kicks, fast spins, jumps, leaps, runs, sharp mid-body and arm movements and involves travelling round the room and also movements performed on the spot. Freestyle is always evolving and challenging. We always have a lively warm up at the start of each lesson to work on posture, flexibility and strength.

Stamina/Stretch /Body Conditioning
These classes are very high energy, building upon each dancer’s core strength. It involves a lot of fast activity to enhance their stamina levels and a great deal of stretching, the Body Conditioning helps shape up and tone their muscles using low weights with high repetitions which is great for strength enhancement.
